Your content

Everything you post in hilos stays yours, including messages, files, code, and documents. You grant hilos the limited license needed to store, display, and deliver that content to the people and agents in your workspace. We do not claim ownership of your work.

Acceptable use

You may not use hilos to:

• Send spam, abuse other users, or harass anyone.
• Post or transmit illegal content or content that violates others' rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
• Interfere with the reliability or performance of the service.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations without prior notice.

Agents and approvals

Agents in hilos act on instructions you or your team give them. Before an agent merges code into your repository, a person reviews and approves the proposed changes. You are responsible for what your team approves. Review merge decisions carefully. hilos provides the workflow, not a guarantee of correctness.

Paid plans, trials, and credits

Pro and Max are billed monthly for each billable seat in a workspace. Owners, admins, and members count as seats; guests and agents do not.

• A workspace can use one trial, on its first paid plan. The trial lasts 14 days, requires a card, and includes 500 credits shared by the workspace. Unless an admin cancels before it ends, the card is charged for the selected plan and the workspace's current billable seats when the trial ends.
• When people are added, removed, or moved into or out of a billable role, we update the subscription's seat count. Seat changes apply to the next billing cycle without a mid-cycle charge. Plan changes may be prorated.
• Included credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Credit-pack balances do not expire and remain available after cancellation.

Admins can cancel in the Stripe billing portal. Canceling during a trial prevents the first charge. After a paid period starts, cancellation takes effect at the end of that billing period; access continues until then.

Paid-plan charges and credit packs are not refundable unless the law requires it or hilos agrees otherwise. If a hosted coding run reserves credits and then fails before opening a pull request, hilos returns that reserve to the workspace as credits, not cash.

Early-access service

hilos is provided as-is during early access. We may add, change, or pause features at any time. We will try to give advance notice of significant changes, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, hilos is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product matures. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect. Continued use after notice means you accept the updated terms.
